Christopher Marotta, PhD

Christopher Marotta is an occupational therapist with over 20 years of experience working in a variety of settings. Currently, Marotta assists students with physical disabilities at the Henry Viscardi School in Albertson, NY and serves as Adjunct Professor at Touro University School of Health Sciences, SUNY Stony Brook, and Hofstra University. He's passionate about assistive technology and enabling his students to be successful in and out of the classroom. Marotta is an avid tinkerer, and enjoys designing and fabricating adaptive devices. Additionally, he is co-leader of the NYC chapter of Makers Making Change, where he hopes to teach other practitioners working in the occupational therapy field about key adaptation skills along with increasing awareness of disabilities.
