- Understand how to adapt existing face-to-face pedagogy to asynchronous and synchronous online learning.
- Learn how to manage and maximize the tools of your current online platforms to create optimal classroom management.
- Learn best practices for differentiating instruction through the use of discussion boards, virtual grouping activities, and other tools.
- Leave with a clear direction on how to balance fun instructional activities with the required scope and sequence—creating a viable online learning environment.

Presenter: Jacquii Leveine
Jacquii Leveine is an Instructional Design and Publishing Consultant at Afrodite Art LLC, with seventeen years of instructional technology and professional learning experience within the NYC Department of Education. She has deployed and trained coaches on the iTeach/iLearn rollout of mobile tablets pioneered the creation of citywide eLearning staff development platforms for teachers, managed the creation of a virtual, citywide science fair using Second Life, and managed the training of three hundred schools in the current iLearnNYC blended learning platform. Ms. Leveine’s professional dedication to online learning has paved the way for the beginnings of the city’s virtual academy which currently has five online teachers.
Ms. Leveine has shared her talents with Touro College Graduate School of Technology students for thirteen years. Her students have gone on to become instructional designers for Con Edison and various healthcare providers. Ms. Leveine continues to bring her passion for designing online learning environments as an independent consultant.
