About the Presenter:
Nicolette Valenti is an experienced learning consultant with ten years of experience working in the education management industry. She specializes in active learning strategies to increase student engagement in both synchronous and asynchronous environments. Nicolette is a graduate from St. Joseph’s University NY with a B.A. in Education and Communications, and from Texas A&M University with a M.Ed. in Educational Technology. Currently, she is a doctoral student in Touro University Nevada's Doctor of Education program in Education Administration and Leadership. She has worked at Touro University for three years and is presently the Assistant Director of Instructional Design with the Department of Online Education. Here she manages and engages in multiple simultaneous projects in collaboration with the Instructional Designers. She works collaboratively with faculty to develop courses and modules that challenge students to assess complex problems and deliver innovative solutions. Additionally, she provides technical support to facilitate and encourage a productive learning environment.
