An Introduction to Adobe Photoshop Basics for Educators

Taught by Dominika Juraszek, who has been teaching 3D modeling, animation, film production, and design for over 15 years, and is bringing her expertise to our classroom.
Adobe Photoshop is the standard software used in the design industry for photo image editing, print, and digital design. In this introductory workshop, participants will learn Photoshop's basic tools and interface. We will cover various techniques to edit images and create visual design ads.
All beginners are welcome to take this course designed for educators looking to implement Adobe Photoshop into their classroom curriculum.
Participants should be familiar with the basic functions of computers, such as saving and copying files, using Google Drive, and creating folders.
What you will learn:
- How to setup and create a document
- How to use Adobe Photoshop’s essential tools for photo manipulation
- How to import and export images
- Text creation and layouts
- Other basic tools in Photoshop
