Ivan started his sales and business development career in AdTech in 2005 working at companies such as Yahoo, Scripps Interactive, AOL, and now ZipRecruiter. During his career, he's been a part of sales, business development, and partner management teams. In his current role at ZipRecruiter, he partners with Talent Acquisition & Human Resource leaders helping them navigate the shift from traditional recruitment advertising towards Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning recruitment strategies. He holds a B.A. from UCLA and an MBA from Texas A&M University. A native of Southern California, he now calls Boston home.
At GST's Career Night, Ivan will provide you with a multi-layered presentation on:
- An interactive approach to applying to jobs where you are a top applicant
- Current job trends in data analytics, educational technology, and design
- The overall recruitment process from a recruiter’s POV
- How technology recognizes and recommends job seekers to jobs in their field
- How recruitment has evolved from traditional job boards to machine learning and artificial intelligence
Please Note Students who began their studies at GST in Fall 2016 or later are required to attend a minimum of 2 career nights in order to graduate.
There are no scheduled GST classes (on any Touro campus or online) in the evening that we hold Career Night so that all students can attend. RSVP is required to attend.
