This workshop by the Graduate School of Technology provides a foundational understanding of Artificial Intelligence (AI), its various workloads, and real-world applications.

Participants will explore key AI concepts, including Machine Learning (ML) principles, Computer Vision, and Natural Language Processing (NLP). The session also covers conversational AI, AI in the cloud, and ethical considerations in AI development. By the end of the workshop, attendees will gain a broad perspective on AI's impact and responsible implementation in different industries.

About the Presenter

Behrooz Khorsandi is a professor at Touro's Graduate School of Technology, where he teaches courses including Networking Essentials, Fundamentals of Network Security, Advanced Cyber Security and AI Principals and Practice. He also currently serves as Technical Solution Architect at IBM Global Technology Services (GTS), where he has worked for 37 years. Professor Khorsandi possesses both level three certified technical specialist and senior consulting infrastructure services solution manager certifications from IBM.
