Flower Darby is Associate Director of the Teaching for Learning Center at the University of Missouri. She has taught in higher education for over 26 years in a range of disciplines including English, Technology, Dance and Pilates. Darby is the co-author of Small Teaching Online: Applying Learning Science in Online Classes. Her new book project is on emotion science and teaching with technology.

This keynote will delve into our sociality as learners and look to emotion science to identify practical strategies that improve students’ motivation, focus, memory and overall learning.
