Cybersecurity Workshop - Session 1: Computer Networking
Computer networks are at the center of all computing activities. In this episode, students will learn about the basics of computer networking, including network architectures and network protocols. You will study network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
The Touro College of Illinois Cybersecurity Workshop will train you in cybersecurity basics. This free workshop is a great fit if you don’t have a strong technical or cybersecurity background but are still interested in entering the field.
This is the first in a six part workshop that will give you the tools and knowledge needed to enter a graduate certificate program and start your cybersecurity career. This is a steadily growing field and there’s a definite need for tech professionals who understand networking and data security.
