vulnerability assessment is a systematic review of security weaknesses in a network. The purpose of such an assessment is to determine if the system is susceptible to any known vulnerabilities, assign severity levels to those vulnerabilities, and recommend remediation or mitigation actions. You will learn what a vulnerability assessment is and the basics of how to perform one.

The Touro College of Illinois Cybersecurity Workshop will train you in cybersecurity basics. This free workshop is a great fit if you don’t have a strong technical or cybersecurity background but are still interested in entering the field.

This is the fifth in a six part workshop that will give you the tools and knowledge needed to enter a graduate certificate program and start your cybersecurity career. This is a steadily growing field and there’s a definite need for tech professionals who understand networking and data security.

Upon completion of the cybersecurity workshop you will:

  • Receive career counseling from field experts
  • Have a better understanding of cybersecurity technology
  • Receive scholarship opportunities to further education at TCIL
