This workshop for graduate students provides strategies for writing resumes, cover letters, and thank you letters so that they can effectively communicate their value to potential employers.
During the workshop, we will cover the essential qualities of a strong resume, including various formats to showcase your education, accomplishments, and career strengths in a way that meets prospective employers’ needs. We will discuss how to use action verbs and professional language, and emphasize the importance of thorough proofreading. Additionally, we’ll review how to write a well-crafted and effective thank you note to send after an interview.
