Tom Rozinski

Assistant Professor Tom Rozinski holds a B.A. summa cum laude from Yale University, an M.A.
in Government from Harvard University, and a J.D. cum laude from Harvard Law School. He
teaches courses on judicial politics, the Supreme Court and the Constitution, civil rights and civil
liberties, introduction to American law, political theory, legal theory, public administration, and
international relations.

Prof. Rozinski has practiced law at two large firms in Manhattan and served for seven years as
General Counsel to two New York City agencies. In 2001, he served as Acting Commissioner of
Homeless Services for New York City. He taught legal writing at the University of Michigan
Law School and political science at Yeshiva University prior to joining the Touro faculty in
2006.

Prof. Rozinski has also been active in pro bono litigation on behalf of political and religious
refugees, and litigated Nitke v. Gonzales, an Internet speech case that was decided by the
