Self-Study Preparation Visit
Dr. Robert Bonfiglio, MSCHE Vice President of Institutional Field Relations and Touro’s Commission staff liaison, is scheduled to conduct a one-day virtual visit to Touro University on Tuesday, September 13, 2022 to meet with the President, the Steering Committee, the Board of Trustees, and various constituency groups including faculty, staff, and students.
The primary focus of the Preparation Visit is to discuss Touro’s draft Self-Study Design which was submitted to Dr. Bonfiglio August 31, 2022.
The Self-Study Design is a document developed by the institution that serves to guide the self-study process and function as a blueprint for the Steering Committee and its Working Groups.
The Self-Study Design:
- identifies the process of selection of the Institutional Priorities to be evaluated in the Self-Study Report,
- articulates how the Self-Study Report will address the MSCHE Standards, the Requirements of Affiliation, and the federal compliance requirements,
- organizes tasks relevant to the self-study,
- serves as a gauge of progress being made by the Steering Committee and Working Groups in the process.
