Middle States Reaccreditation 2015
Touro College is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE), 3624 Market Street, Philadelphia, PA 19104, (267) 284-5000. The MSCHE is an institutional accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation. The college’s professional schools have also received accreditation from the appropriate specialized accrediting agencies.
The Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE) requires institutions, including Touro College to meet standards that are outlined in its publication, Standards for Accreditation and Requirements of Affiliation.
Institutions are reaccredited every 8 years. Reaccreditation requires preparation and submission of self-study, followed by a team visit. Touro College’s accreditation was reaffirmed on November 19, 2015. On March 4, 2021, the Middle States Commission on Higher Education notified Touro College that the Mid-Point Peer Review has been conducted successfully and no further evidence was required. The next evaluation visit is scheduled for 2023-2024.
