TCUS IPE Summit Proposal Deadline
Want to participate in the TCUS Interprofessional Education Summit? Submit your proposal by January 7th 2022.
Faculty across the Touro College and University System (TCUS) interested in issues relating to interprofessional education (IPE) are invited to submit proposals for virtual presentations at the second system-wide IPE Summit. The conference is designed to encompass a wide variety of topics related to IPE and catalyze collaboration among campuses. Please take this opportunity to share your IPE innovations with the TCUS community! Possible topics for proposals may include, but are not limited to:
- Innovative IPE curriculum
- IPE lessons learned during COVID-19
- Best practices in IPE assessment and evaluation
- IPE across diverse social and cultural backgrounds
- Using technology in IPE (e.g. telehealth, virtual reality)
- Challenges in organizing IPE
- Integrating non-traditional team members in clinical IPE (e.g. K-12 educators, MPH students, lawyers, community leaders)
We invite proposals for 10-minute presentations in a variety of formats, including individual presentations, panel presentations (a series of 10-minute presentations grouped around a common theme), and poster presentations. To be considered for the conference, proposals should be one page (maximum), single-spaced, and include the following information:
- Title of the presentation
- Name, position/ title, school, email address, and telephone number of the presenter(s)
- An abstract of the presentation and a description of how it relates to the conference theme.
The proposal deadline is January 7, 2022 at 4:00 p.m. EST

Those submitting a proposal will be advised of a decision no later than January 27, 2022.
