TCUS Assessment Webinar (Rubrics 101)
A rubric is a coherent set of criteria for students' work that includes descriptions of levels of performance quality on the criteria. Through such an assessment tool, faculty are able to communicate expectation, score student work and provide feedback. This webinar will discuss the importance of rubrics, highlight examples of both good and poorly constructed rubrics, offer tips for developing effective rubrics and if necessary, how to modify them as the class progresses over the semester.
