In this CETL workshop, you will learn how digital storytelling alongside puppets and dolls can be transformative in teaching and learning in the sciences and STEM fields. This approach has the capacity to challenge current understandings of what science is, how science can be taught, and who can be considered a "science person." The presenters will share how using dolls/puppets to tell stories in science can also help students and future practitioners engage in social and ethical issues related to the sciences.
