Open Educational Resources (OER) To Enhance Your Course Materials
Open Educational Resources (OER) are freely accessible, openly licensed text, media, and other digital assets that are useful for teaching, learning, assessment and research purposes. This webinar will discuss how the Touro College Libraries have built an OER initiative that has significantly reduced student book budgets. It will demonstrate the ways in which faculty can utilize these critical, cost-saving resources in their courses. The session will highlight the work of two Touro College psychology faculty members who were awarded a Faculty Innovation Grant from the Office of the Provost to adapt OER for their classes. With the fall semester quickly approaching, you do not want to miss this webinar opportunity to learn how to enhance our course materials and save Touro students thousands of dollars!
