Keynote Speaker
Dr. Brennan Spiegel directs the Cedars-Sinai Center for Outcomes Research and Education (CS-CORE), a multidisciplinary team that investigates how digital health technologies can strengthen the patient-doctor bond, improve outcomes and save money. His team developed one of largest and most widely-documented medical VR programs at Cedars-Sinai. Dr. Spiegel is author of the book VRx: How Immersive Therapeutics Will Revolutionize Medicine. He earned his medical degree from New York Medical College.

A new field of medicine called Medical Extended Reality, or "MXR," has evolved in which healthcare providers use immersive technologies like VR to help treat medical conditions, support patient education and enhance learning outcomes for students. This keynote will delve into applications of Immersive technology within medicine, health sciences and education.

- feature breakout groups and build on themes from the keynote
- explore how a wide array of Immersive technology in conjunction with Artificial Intelligence can be used in the classroom and in clinical applications throughout the healthcare professions and beyond
