Interprofessional Education Teaching Methods in Behavioral Health
This workshop will explore interprofessional teaching methods in behavioral health with a focus on youth at risk. Through a case study analysis and discussion led by our speaker panel, participants will learn about how these three behavioral health professions collaborate and inform one another’s practice and take away examples of teaching methods and learning activities that can be used to help students develop an understanding of how to engage in interprofessional collaborative practice.
Join us in a first-time partnership between The School of Health Sciences of Touro College and Touro College Graduate School of Social Work. As a recipient of the Behavioral Health Workforce Education and Training Grant, the graduate programs in Occupational Therapy, Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Social Work aim to expand an interdisciplinary, team-based behavioral health didactic and fieldwork training program at Touro.
