In the event that routine Touro College work functions are disrupted due to prolonged campus or building closures, you may find it necessary to work from off campus. We provide a variety of services to connect you with colleagues and students remotely so that work can continue uninterrupted.

Be Prepared

  • From off campus, you can use TCWorkspace to access Banner 9 Admin Pages.
    Otherwise, you will need VPN to access Banner 9 Admin Pages.


TCWorkspace for Admin Pages
  • TC Workspace gives you access to a desktop and applications in a virtual environment. Use instead of VPN for AdminPages. From the portal, click on Home and then click on the TCWorkspace button.

VPN
  • VPN employees who have previously approved and configured VPN access will continue to connect to resources in the VPN profile.

  • Employees can contact the TouroOne Helpdesk to request VPN access. This process requires approval and configuration. This process is completed within five-days.

Outlook Online

Using an internet browser, Log in to Office365, choose your Work or School Account and enter your Touro email address and password. You access Touro email and calendar access in Outlook on the browser.
Word, Excel, PowerPoint, more
Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint can be run within a browser without installing the applications on a device by visiting https://office.com

Employees are also entitled to download and install Microsoft applications to their personal devices by visiting https://office.com and continue to use the products while they are employed by Touro College and University System.

MiCollab Client SoftPhone
  • Software that allows you to use your computer, or other device as a phone to make calls using the internet.
  • First, go to help.touro.edu and submit an incident to request MiCollab Client SoftPhone.
  • Once your request has been processed, you will receive an invitation from noreply@mitel.easydeploy.net
  • Follow the instructions to install the mobile app to an Apple iOS or Android device. For additional assistance contact the TouroOne Helpdesk.
