New York Expands Scope of Practice for Podiatrists
New Legislation Broadens Podiatric Practice in New York, Enhancing Training, Clinical Services, and Patient Access to Advanced Foot and Ankle Care
New York College of Podiatric Medicine Touro University (NYCPM Touro) is pleased to announce a major advancement for the podiatric profession in New York State. Last month, Governor Kathy Hochul signed into law a significant expansion of the New York State scope of practice for podiatrists. The legislation will take effect 18 months from the date of the Governor’s signature.
